- Outpost Table -

I like the joinery in my pieces to tell their own story. I want the client (or passer by) to be able to "read" the joinery and see the strength and ingenuity of the construction. I want the methods of construction to be present in the final design and not hidden in a way which will never be seen. The beauty of this table is that the legs are drawn into the top providing exceptional strength and rigidity. The table is called the Outpost as the top of each leg tenon sits proud of the table top itself. They remind me of signal towers resting just above the forest canopy.
